I am tied of breaking tierods and a few pages back you suggested the Lunford SD tie rods wit hRTR ball cups. What are you using on the inside rear camber link?

I am only running those on the gas truck. I run all superduty tie rods with RTR ball cups. I run Titanium balls studs in all 4 places in the rear and titanium in the inner camber in the front.

For electric I am still running punisher tie rods but you need to run the lunsford ones. The kit tie rods are junk! Do not know why losi tried to mess with a good thing in the tie rods but they did and lost.

Did you get to try the batteries yet?

Aaron, whuts up dog. You ever try silver directionals at Hemet & Sun-valley? If so, how did they compare to red directionals?

I finally got a chance to play with different set-ups on the AD2 for my 1st test & tune out-doors. All I have to say is that it's ON, this summer. My truck is way more dialed than my old AD1 ever was. Seems I'm running the hole in the rear hub that has the least sidebite, so if I'm ever on a very slick track, I have 3 more steps to gain additional side-bite.

I just finished putting "the dirt" set up in my car and I'm ready to give it a try for tomorrow night. Per the set up sheet, I have #56 pistons all around but I noticed for the front they are standard and in the rear it says "drilled". Is there a standard to use when someone says "drilled pistons"? Like, do you open up one or all of the holes with a certain size drill? To you add a hole of a particular size? Any info is appreciated.

Also, I added the .020" shim "pro squat" under the rear of the rear block... what does this do for handling?

The drilled piston is when you take a 60 or a 57 piston and you ream the holes out to drill #56 size. The molds used to make the piston do not always get the holes the right size. The drilled 56 will actually give you a little more pack then the standard 56. Racers edge makes some really nice finger drills which make this process much easier but all you need is a numbered drill bit and you can hold it with a pair of pliers.

I have found that different brands of shock oil have different actual thicknesses then the "wt" rating indicates (for example: Losi tends to act like oil 5wt thicker than Associated). Do you know how Trinity silicone compares to Losi?

I've never run AE oil....the Losi stuff is amazing, and I am a big fan of the Trinity oil.... I don't know if there's much of a difference between those two though.

I have been replacing all of my Trinity Oil with AE oil, I have heard that Trinity oils are about 2.5 wt off, to the lighter side, from the bottle lable.

I like the AE oil, but I may switch to Losi oil b/c my LHS started getting the Losi oils in.
