It depends on which way round you are mounting the servo. Mount the servo vertically like Tamiya does and the lower lug will need cutting off to fit, and usually the upper one as well to clear the body. Mount a low profile servo horizontally and it can fit complete with lugs.

I added 1.5mm shim below the front knuckles. That pushes down the chassis 1.5mm relative to the wheel axle.
But the springs above the knuckles get compressed if you don't raise the upper arms by 1.5mm. Therefore I added 1.5mm washers between the upper arm and the center and and also at the two back screwing points on the servo mount. And I just left 1.5mm space at the side screws (where the droop setting screws are for f104).

After mounting all my electronics and battery, the car sits at 3.4mm front, middle, and back.
I might just run it like that. I have thin shims I can use instead of the 1.5 mm spacers so I can raise it to 4mm if I wanted.

Addendum: on top of upper arm, the center screw was running out of length so I replaced the stock washer with a thinner one.

That is a Futaba ESC maybe the 850, and the Tamiya Motor I believe the "CR Tuned" Version. The ESC is similar to the KO VFS series.

You guys can probably put touring car hex spacers under the lower arms on the 4mm screws and get at least 1mm if not 1.5 out of the front end right away. The tabs will still lock into the chassis slightly. I was doing this for Pardus tires since they are pretty big. You may need to space the servo mount screws as well.

Yep, shimming the front end along with the servo mounts works the same as shimming the upper arm, it just takes a little more work.
