that's pretty much the defacto type-r foam setup, we tend to run 2-3 washers on the rear camber link on the hub. What the heck was Johnson running a type-r for?? no more phi??

With you guys running a ballstud setup on the from (instead of jr link), what tyres are you running. I have heard lots of comments about how much better it is but I tried it and it did excactly what I expected... less steering. So much so I missed a wide open turn and ran off the track. Either i am missing something or you guys are running on crazy amounts of grip. As it stands I think there is only one setting for the front for rubber asphalt.

The ball stud will put the link shorter and higher, so there is more camber gain, unless you are running so much static camber that you move into an area with less contact patch, there is no reason it should give you less steering.

Shorter links give less mid corner steering and more initial. It did excatly that... No mid corner steering. I have gone back to the JR and will stick with that as it has plenty of initial anyway but sooooo much more mid.

Back to diffs now. Have many ppl tried different diff balls? What are you thoughts?

I know Mike was running the "older red case" SMC 5000 with the wires coming out the right side. I've run them as well. I also tried fitting the newer case and while it is a tight fit, you can get it to work without modifying the top deck. It's just an odd/tight fit.

I don't worry about that anymore though as I'm running the TP5000 40C.
can you be more specific. the 40c has the wires exiting from thefront left top corner. i don't see how this will fit without grinding on the top deck.

thanks for the help.

Chris, get a TP pack and dont look back. The car needs no mods for the pack to fit and its the fastest pack around. Cheaper than SMC too. And you know I wouldnt bs you buddy.

See you next weekend.
