hey lee82gx.... I got a good setup for all diffs...
tires: I use take off 32's (the 4pack that dont come with inserts) for my outdoor asphalt track. They got more grip than the hpi 33r.( which i also tried) with soft inserts cuz we race at night. and HPI 24mm 5 spokes.
front: -2 deg tamiya white spring, yellow sway, 50wt oil, top shock all way out. .7mm spacer under the front rear block.(you might need to shave off a bit from the block if you're still using the tamiya screws)
rear: -2deg tamiya blue spring, yellow sway, 40wt oil, top shock all way out. 1mm spacer under the rear front block. B rear block.
2mm hex spacers that come with hpi wheels on all four corners.
I run the stratus 2.0 body, gear it 72spur/29pinion or one smaller depending on your track. these are 48 pitch gears from robison racing. I use them for a tuned p2k2.
I find it rotates on a dime and hauls @@@!

I was looking at Evo3 setups. If "Rebound Stroke" = Droop... Does anyone know what the difference between these two rebound strokes are?
#1776
Nope Sry.

I've talked to Mr. Hara, chief designer of TB EVO III, and he told me that it is a translation failure in the setup sheet. the first "rebound stroke" means dropp and the second "rebound stroke" means wheel spacer. As you can see the japanese signs are different, so they simply made a translation failure.
BTW:
TB EVO III had big succes in Germany at the German Indoor Nats!!!!
Place 1 and 2 in Touring Car Stock (Winner Bernhard Bopp)
Place 1, 4, 8, 10, 12 in Touring Car Modified (Winner Marc Rheinard)
As soon as possible i will post some pics of Germany's EVO III.

it's a hex spacer so the wheel would go out more...to avoid touching anything else...sadly i have one in and it still touches stuff (with one set)

A wheel spacer is a 1 mm or 2 mm Shim that helps to change easily the front or rear width.

hey guys, i raced the evo this weekend, and she went very.
1st heat = finsihed 3rd
2nd heat = finished 4th (but had to start at the back of grid for some reason.
3rd heat = finished 2nd
had heaps of comments on how fast she was.
i'm running the front diff. if anyone wants the setup let me know.
the track was med size, farly techincal, high grip concrete.
i'm running kyosho tyres belted 35's they work well, some guys have 30's. we race at night with med inserts
