The cleaning putty went really well for two races in the third race the diff broke. The two washers broke in two halves and the pins damaged the gears and housing. It was just a mess and a lot of work to clean it

When I get the AE diff it will be just too worthy to stuff it with putty.

This chart is for old X-ray oil (W) to New x-Ray oil (CST).

This is not a comparison with AE oils.

AE chart is the same "old" (but good :-)) AE oil that have been tested to have cst value (Official international system of units).

Just get the ofna "diff lock" fluid 500,000 works just fine

500k is a tad "thinner" in terms of feel compared to putty/eraser, but you can't go wrong either way.

Geberit ---- did it break in an accident, or just while driving with no contact?

I think no accident just driving. There was a little touch with an opponent so I'm not 100% sure. Bud I didn't realized it till I came home and I tried to turn the wheels at one point it stuck so I assumed something is not wright. I opened it and at this point everything came apart ...

What make of putty were you using? I had the Serpent in mine but with the weather getting very hot in the afternoon, it started to become too soft, as far as I could rotate it with wheels, But on cooler temp it was really good.

In hot weather it gets softer too buy I doubt ther is a putty that won't get soft in hot conditions.

i have a material i used at the nats that i will be selling for gear diffs doesnt get affected by heat still gives slight diff motion but very tight compared to putty
