After all sorted out handling and 2nd race the car is confirm the CAR Of The Year 2010.

In our tropical climate please ream holes in the receiver box to cool down the receiver, (M11x receivers) and treadlock key important screws.

I had a blast driving it for the mains, screws coming loose due to heavy crash cost me my mains, that about me to improve. Thanks Ralph, Team Brooklyn, and guys who had advise me on this car. Got myself 3 new kits to built for a practice car, spare car and race car.

Default Receiver Mounting?

How are you guys mounting the receiver? In particular the M11X receiver?

Do you mount it on the main plastic radio module or on the removable cover?

Any pics would be great to see.

Stuff it inside the box and add sponge as i ream large holes on the cover to cool the receiver. Just change to 4pks today with the new receiver also did the same thing i smash 1 car to bits and pcs with a glitch problem and when repairing i have my receiver melting inside the box it was the 414 receiver.

Default receiver box

I was at the Xceed cup in Shanghai on the weekend. I had time to pull my car apart and found the receiver box hitting the chassis

During the race, I know 2 runaway MRx5. They either solved the problem by screwing 2 screws into the top plate or file the chassis so the receiver box not touching the chassis.
See if this work.

Also start checking and maintain more often the oneway on the 2nd speed. It will be a problem specially if you run on tight tracks like ours.

Goooood racing.

Rather than grind the chassis add 1 mm shim under the rear of the upper deck

It's the four screws holding the throttle and steering servo to the radio mount. The ones in the middle where the mounting ear for both over lap. Steering servo on the inside and the throttle servo on the outside.
I took the material off of the radio box, around .6mm. Plenty of clearance.

Got my 4pks from Race Craft Infinity, i use that to run my electric and the 4pk to run the nitro, so i run the old receiver on the MRX5 the only diff i feel is the toggle button on the 4pks better

Gave away my M11x already too heavy for the long main stint.

My old M11 was even heavier !! That is why my driving will worsen reaching to the end of the race..
