hmm, I think your car is going to tweak really easily that way. Why don't you just dremel the underside of the rear bulkhead, usually 1-2mm off there (just below the bearing race) is enough to clear most packs.

There is also the plastic lipo tray which may help you fit that battery. It sits lower than the sub-c tray you have arranged in there.

The tray he is using can be modded to work as well. I know since that is what I did to get my lipos to fit. I tossed the plastic lipo trays thinking I would never use them and I really wish I would have kept them.

Yeah, well at the time I could not wait and needed it, so my trays are modded and work well.

i dont have any 5000 lipo packs.but i have 2 zippy 4000 packs that fir with no modding.and i have 3 ip 3800 packs that fir with no modding.with the exception of whether you use billet conectors.you will have to dremel the top deck up a little to get the billets to go by without hitting the top deck.

thats to bad losi dousnt have any pro drivers...the car is awesome...i wish i could go to more bigger events...cause i would be more than happy to represent losi.

The money is in off-road. Their last few top level drivers didn't leave because of the car itself.

I would like to know what bullet connector lipos most people are using. I do not have the new layshaft, for the time being dont see a reason yet to buy it. I am looking right now at getting a protek 35c 5000mah lipo for this ride in addition to the used ones i have already that fit which are the:

Trakpower Gold lipo 4900mah
Team Orion Platinum Two 5000mah

I am running the ready 5000mah 35c lipo, it needs alittle dremelling done to the bottom of the rear bulkheads to fit perfect, but its in there now just tight.
