And me going to the Eastern states was different how? Oh I had 3 sets of mounted tires, very little practice on a track that was nowhere near as good as it would be a few hours later, and yeah, ONE RUN REARS?
and IRH has, OMG, wait for it.. practice days!!! free sat practice for registered sunday drivers

Then it becomes a 2 day race...and I spend even more money to finish last to said track rats.
Sorry man, as long as IRH is slicks, you won't see me there. We'll just have to agree to disagree Besides, there's plenty of other opportunities for you to try to beat me HA!

Just ordered me an RB6 and a Lazer. Ran a lazer and RB5 in the past but have been running AE most recently. Main reasons I switched back to Kyosho (because it certainly wasn't price) was just a bad taste in my mouth with AE lately and my desire to try and dial in a good modern mid motor platform on our local track.
I'm going to start off in mid motor with my saddles all the way back like Jared and team run when doing mid motor. I'm really looking forward to trying some various rear spring, down travel, roll center, and even sway bar options. Who knows how wrong I am or not, but I'm gonna try it

The car just runs little droop.. Look at the setups online @ petit.

Front droop (and droop in general) is like the most ignored and simultaneously one of the most important settings on a 2wd buggy. Small changes in front droop have a dramatic effect on what you can get away with in the rear of the car because it directly controls how much weight transfers to the rear under acceleration. 1mm of reduced front droop can open up a whole new world of possibilities for running a lower rear roll center, softer spring, or lighter oils. What less droop gives up in terms of forgiveness in a 2wd buggy, it makes up for in allowing the rear of the car to be stable when the car is pushed.

I always ran 3 limiters in the front of my b4.1 with big bores.

I've always hovered between 2-3 front and 2-3 rear depending on how high the bite was.
I also have heard a couple of pro's mention that they prefer set ups that are a bit stiffer and have more droop in combination with softer tires when possible........
