I never really ran any of tebos setups seeing how i dont run the same tracks im just wondering what he was trying to change by changing those items its a lot of doe for a2wd buggy that their top driver doesnt like it with the parts that where designed around it is all im saying. Im sure we will all know more when the car is released here

They were all running the "best" tires for that track... tire selection is open. He was running the same tires as Cav... garauntee you they were right on par. I bet he had to run the .5 hubs because with a chassis that has no flex (no t-plate), rear traction / predictability will always be an issue... im not 100% sure as I don't run the car yet, but that is my early guess. I guess time will tell

I wouldn't worry about the rear arms. I ran the ncg arms on my rb5 as I liked these best and the gul wing arms are the same just moulded instead of the metal piece.
There is no difference in the front axle. Maybe tebo feels the old 2 piece set up is stronger?
The 0.5 hubs are good for mod at most tracks, I wouldn't use these with a 17.5 but.
The old slipper surprised me but.
And has the kit got the tungsten carbide diff balls like the rb5 wc, fs2sp, rt5, scrsp?

Not true, it's possible to run a narrower front track (for more steering) with the WC one peice axles. The two peice are also one gram lighter.
But I'm pretty sure the reason Kyosho uses the one peice axle in the kit is because it is less expensive.

Sure you'll need to test them out for your own track etc. but a starter standard baseline would be more helpful. But I guess this is a new car afterall.

From what I understand, while there was no control tire for the event, there was a "gentlemens agreement" to run that tire. It's just what I heard. WCRC is my home track, and like I said it's just my opinion, but MC suburbs aren't even in the top three tires there. The only time I see fast guys running that tire is when there is a big event coming up that has that as the control tire. They also may have been running it because it was the control tire for the Reedy and they had a baseline setup to compare to.

I wonder if Kyosho will put together a $59.99 WC upgrade/downgrade package to bring the car up to Tebo specs.

My preferred tire is pink BK bars (1 house cut out), then gold barcodes. A lot of the fast guys run gold barcodes. I have not tried them but the panther bk clone is supposed to be pretty close to the losi. I've also heard that pink HB beams are really good there.
back on topic- I did notice that the back of the RB6 chassis has some material removed to promote flex. Like I've seen on some TLR team driver's cars.

Really? They dont tell you which kick up setting is standard or where you should start. I gotta say this car is becoming less and less attractive to me. I love kyosho cars but this lack of what i would call a baseline setup a d the fact that their top driver doesnt back the entire product with his setup is very troubling to me. I wS very excited when i first saw they where releasing a new car now i have nothing but unanswered questions

The fact that the rb6 came 2nd at Cav's backyard where he dominated is encouraging, especially from a new car. But time will tell I suppose.
