Yeah they are just too delicate, and I can imagine they wont hold up too well under racing conditions

So it looks like we are finally going to be getting an indoor f1 class going in WA, and I was wondering what the best carpet rubber tires setup for F104 & F103 cars is.

We are using Pit Shimizu 571 front and 572 rears on carpet. They are working really well for the 104's.

In my Pro version there are 3x35 turnbuckles with Tamiya 5mm ball connectors.

Yeah 572 and 571 the soft front rear hard names are odd but it's the right combo!

My car is nearly perfect on this combo, just like the rest of the guys.

Disregard the name "hard", they just work.

Haven't heard any reasoning for them using hard as a description for these rears but it's obvious that the sidewalls are much more durable than the previous "best" rear tires that were labeled soft.

If you have any concerns as to how they work, watch the video below from the Ultimate F1 A main #3 yesterday. Completely hooked up, grip it and rip it.

My theory on the labeling is the side wall flexibility and inserts.. I think the compounds are all actually quite similar.

Could be wrong i've not had chance to compare them all yet.
