I use a #20 and have never needed to go bigger than that.
I wouldn't recommend going bigger than a #20 unless you want to introduce slop a whole lot faster...

Any particular reason you want to avoid running a Savox servo cause you run Spektrum? I run both Savox servos with Spektrum and don't have any issues.

I have the perfect solution, go to Lowes and find the chainsaw sharpening tool, looks like a long thin round file. It comes in a 2 pack. The smaller file is 4.2mm. Put the droop screw in the a arms, Chuck the file into a drill and ream out the a arms from both sides. It works perfectly, the hinge pin will be able to fall right through the a arms with very minimal slop..... Kcobra showed me this and I have used it. And best if all, the tool costs around 5$...

Just heard locally that the two don't mix well together and that you need an external cap to help regulate the power. I have an xp 1015 now just wondering if that would work? Im new to 8th scale, just a 2wd buggy guy.

Never had this happen to me before.. Snapped a camber link end while I was making an on power left turn. Maybe it had a small stress crack in it. They were fresh too, this was the 3rd race on the whole set.

Note to self: Check rod ends more often

Can you tell me what's about the Hudy reamer tool for the Losi arms ?
Did somebody try it ?
Is the 4mm one right, or we absolutely need ~4,2mm drill/tool/tap ?

8ight e 3.0 rear shock Bodys getting scratched

Hello,
my problem is that my rear shock Bodys are getting scratched more and more.
I have only driven this car 5 Trackdays long on an astroturf track, so Stones couldnt have scratched them up.
Even the thread is damaged a bit
Does someone have the Same Problems?

Usually this happens when springs run the shock body. It can also happen in crashes where the springs hit the body.

Another question regarding servos. I ran the xp1015 and it feels good but I think it needs a little more. What is a good amount of torque and speed that I should be looking for? Do you need more torque over speed? I was also looking at the spectrum 6090 or the futuba 9352 and was wondering which would be better for the buggy?
