Spur Gear of 55
Pinion of 28 = FDR 4.03
Pinion of 37 = FDR 3.05
So your pinions should be between 27 and 38 in most cases.

Nobody can tell you what ratio to use but in general people use a ratio around 4 for small to medium sized tracks. For medium to large tracks you want to use closer to 3.0 ratio. The ratio is highly dependent on your motor and should be adjusted based on the track layout. The more sharp turns higher your ratio should be. The more flowing and open the track, the lower your ratio should be.

be also using wrong ratio for gearing then as well i got to readjust the print out i have then.

Track during the winter is 5 rolls of Black carpet. layout changes every race day. normally leave it geared the same because the layout always changes expect for 3 day races/weekends where they stay the same.

First outing for my second-hand TA07 today, overall I'm super impressed. I haven't raced touring cars (aside from our Porsche spec class TA02s) since the brushed motor days and I can't believe how fast even USGT is!
The car came to me (and I ran it) mid-motor (most fwd position), silver springs in front white in rear, with a very thickly-fluided front diff and some HPI tires that were similar to the USGT spec ones. Track is black carpet. My initial job at sidewall gluing was not high enough and I had traction roll issues on top of the fact that I wasn't used to powering through corners with the thick front. First heat I lost a screw from the bottom of a C hub, second heat my servo saver screw backed out, but after some help I got everything sorted for the last two runs which were a blast. In those two I used SXT 3.0 on the rears only and found the car very nimble, rotating quickly under power. I gave the TA07 a heck of a beating today and aside from losing two screws it was no worse for wear.
Started at a 3.40 FDR and it was really fast but the motor seemed much hotter than my 17.5 buggy ever gets, so I took it down to 3.55. It performed okay but was noticeably running out of legs on the straights, might gear back up and add a fan (or take an actual temp measurement instead of being subjective) since it was still pretty darn hot that way too. And after I get the right tires on and see how that goes, I'll look at toning down the front diff.

We'll just as a reference I was running a Motiv 21.5 (older version and kind of weak) and I was at a 4.20. Temps were at 130 at the end of a run if that helps. I am at about 47 degrees timing.

I was able to sneak back for practice tonight with the 07: FDR move from 3.55 (78/45) to 3.99 (78/40) brought the temps down from 'surface of the sun' to about 160, but I was at the absolute inner limit of the motor mount. Went up on the spur which put me at 4.40 and now the post-run temps were about 135. Next time round I'll work with the motor timing and see if I can find a sweet spot in between these gear extremes.
Also got the USGT spec tires on, and the car feels absolutely planted on black carpet. I'm very impressed by this kit.
