Why would someone spend the extra cash on a Mission and then buy a hitec servo...... kinda like buying a corvette and then putting a Geo Metro 3 cylinder engine in it!!!!

na dude, i got rid of the hitec. too damn slow for me.!
now iam runnin Airtronics (forgot the number but the last 2 digits are 57) its Digital,BB,Metal and FAST!! Set me back $135.99 And clint, its not the car, I have always drove that way, It does a few things for me 1.Helps me setup for the next corner 2. gets me ready to move if somebody crashes and 3.Easier to pass people. I even did this when I raced Go-Karts.
Ive never really went "straight".

IMPACT- Geo's have 3????? I thought they only made 4? Talk about a econmy car

see......someone did put that engine in a corvette....LOL

Bigdog- I'm sending you those pics before I run this body this weekend. I changed the colors slightly. Due to lack of time and a real need to run this body this weekend, it didn't come out too good. Once me job stops with these 12 hour days then I'll have more time to due a body justice.

Titanium Racing make Ti pinions, you can get them from Schumacher i think. Mine 25 tooth weighs 2 grams compared to my steel 25 tooth weighing 4 grams.

I bought a 27 tooth TIR pinion, and I am totally unhappy with it! I mounted it up along with the Schumacher 86 tooth kit gear. The gear was so out of round that it was barely making contact on one side and nearly locked up against the spur gear on the other side! I know the motor shaft is straight and I know the Schumacher kit spur is round because it meshes well with my RRP, Trinity, HPI, and Yokomo pinions. So it had to be the TIR gear. I plan to try it with my RW spur gear to check and see if I get the same results, because I know how perfectly round the RW spur is.

I don't know if I got a bad one or what, but its almost unuseable. I was quite disappointed.

Default PINION

If everything else is OK, there is one other thing you might want to check. Make sure that when the pinion is tightened onto the motor shaft the grub screw has full contact and is not hanging slightly over the end of the shaft. This can cause a pinion to run way out of true.

Otherwise you can return it....I am sure they would be helpful.

The problem probably is when they stamp the # on the pinion they probably smashed it a little We have had a couple of them like this.Get in contact with Adrian or Paul they will be glad to help.I also have the Ti pinions and they are the Truest ant lightest pinions I have ever ran.
