has anyone experimented with different length bell crank links on the XXX-S. that way you could adjust the ackerman.

The longer the link makes the car roll more which makes you gain traction, but it makes the car less stable. So the shorter the link less traction less roll and more stability.

nitrorcfan: In the February 2002 edition of Hi-Torque's RC Car Magazine pg. 38, Matt Francis has an article concerning roll center and he addresses camber links. It is pretty easy to understand. You may wish to check that out. Happy Tuning.

stlnlst...trinity took care of the adaptor....but the fact is there is a lot of runout in the part.....for5 bucks you are nuts not to run losis gears.....

i tryed the black and purple, but i am back to blue silver, i think that i will try purple, blue at some point.....i worked with paul l and another guy, and we found a pretty good setup....i will post it if you guys like....

Just installed the one-way. Anyone got the experience of having one of the one-way drive cups being too tight on the pins of the CVDs, whereby causing binding? There was no binding without installing the silver rings. If yes, what can be done to solve this?

I'm glad that they took care of you....as far as the Losi spurs, I do agree that $5 is a great deal but I sometimes like to play with my final drive ratio to get a little more from the motor or I might want to get a hair more punch but don't want to go too far below what I'm looking for so the only solution is to change the spur gear to get a better ratio. This really helps when running stock. The set up that you guys worked on, is it for rubber tire's or foam? If it's rubber please post it.

Hi Kenneth,

I have the same problem but they do not really pose a problem.If you took out the springs the outdrive will have the habit of popping out from the One Way.

By the way you will also have the same problem if you use the outdrive protectors from Trinity. You know the blue things......

A light filing inside the splines with loosen up the fit. After a few runs the fit will fix itself.

Hasnt been a need to.

But if you think you need it you can do the ackerman yourself by using ball-stud/ballcup with a short adjustable turnbuckle link.

STLNLST - how many teeth are you running on a 64p for the xxx-s? we have a 100 x 50 feet track. i run a 22 pinion with a 90 spur. i just want to try out 64 pitch again. what would you recommend? emailing me would be great! thanks in advance!
