splinter cell c-147 mods

Anyone get one of these and mod it at all? brushless motors, 4 channel, etc?
I tried to search for it, but I couldn't find anyone that has. They can be had for really cheap though

What do you guys use to store all your cars?
Is it best to just set them on shelves (like a book shelf), or narrow shelves that hold the car up by the chassis, as to not compress the shocks at all?

and as others have said, electric is much easier to start...

OP is just looking for something cheap to learn on it sounds. I got my tt01d for $100 with 2 batteries and a charger on craigslist, and I'm pretty happy with it.

like I said, without the motor, the esc seems to be working fine. it powers on and off, and responds to my transmitter input
