i think unless you have the ability/tools to blueprint/flow-test the engine the porting and timing changes your doing is like doing it blind, i could be wrong but if you go to any well known engine...

So has this ever been done/tried?

Would be interesting to see how much life you would get out of a forged piston and rod, maybe even the sleeve and crank as well? one can dream....

Ok i pulled the engine down again and yes there is allot of play between the rod and crank pin. The brass bit in the rod is almost worn away, how can i tell if just changing out the rod for a new one...
