New Sanwa MT-44 4-channel 2.4GHz radio system

Anyone have issues updating the firmware? I've followed the instructions on the Sanwa site. As per a few threads I've read, I made sure the 4GB SD card was FAT32 formatted. I even went as far as putting the card in and copying a model config to the card so the transmitter created the proper folder structure. Anyway, when I create the update folder, paste the MT-44.prg file in there and try to do the update firmware steps, it doesn't work. I'm trying to go from 1.01.13 to 1.01.18, I would assume it's a rollup and I don't have to do them sequentially .14,.15, etc... because I can't find .14 online. When I hit update firmware, an arrow flashes on the screen and that's it. No matter which firmware version I try.

Is your language file JPN? I don't see anywhere to download anything different, so I'm assuming they're all the same, even though I have an option to upload a new language file.
Luckily everything works fine so no need to stress about it, just mildly annoying.

What firmware version did you go FROM TO? I'm trying to go FROM 1.01.13 TO 1.01.18. But, I've tried about everything in between so, not really sure it matters.

Going from 17 to 18 was quick and painless. Maybe post a screen shot of your folder directory. Also have you tried data logging and export to .csv ? Maybe there is a problem with the SD itself

Sanwa has the change log on their website. Give it a read. Nothing really mind blowing I just like to be up to date ha

possibly weird question but does the mt44 have steering throw adjustment? just a plate behind the steering wheel with setscrew holes to limit the motion of the wheel. strongly considering this radio rather than an m12s or rs to replace my vanilla m12 that doesn't work outdoors very well. iv'e sent it back to service once already which didn't cost me anything and it worked fine for the summer but started to screw up again in the fall so i just want to stop using it.
ive had it since launch so im fine with replacing it hah. I would definitely appreciate something smaller and lighter that could fit into my hauler perhaps.

sounds good. its a tough choice between this and the m12rs but the design of the m12 is what ive never really liked being so top heavy and cumbersome to navigate. the direct model list function of this might be enough to switch as i race so many classes lol.
can you charge the lipo via usb? that would be sweet to just plug it into my 1216c between rounds if needed.

Active Powersports shows they have them.
LRP - 430356 LiPo 3.7V 3200mAh TX-Pack Sanwa MT-44 TX-Only - Active Powersports
I bought one from Tower, but they no longer carry it. Looks like they dried up pretty fast.
