Motor. Handout SP 11.5 v3 about 5 degree in the endbell.
FDR 6.9
Ddrs 9
Boost 40
Turbo 23
Turbo slope 18/0.1
Turbo delay 0.2
Boost start 4000rpm
Boost punch 300

After 5min race, motor temp lower than 80c.(35c air temp)

Nice!
Very happy to hear the good results. All the hard work will help out with the profile of HOBBYWING. For all agents and retailers of this very good ESC.

Cheers

If I'm correct, I think the A-final was three hobbywings, four Orca's, and three LRP's... not a tekin in sight!

Deffinate congrats to the Hobbywing team, Motor Wang's car looked very quick all week, and the new software seems to be doing the trick.
My ESC was rock solid in Mod, and fast too boot. Shame I had a nightmare otherwise! Although as Sizheng said to me as I left, almost everyone has a bad first TITC!
I've vowed to go back next year, with a new radio and more practise, and more time to see the city!

Steve

All motors are different and there is no other better than another.

Tekin very revvy. Too high rpm will blow the armature
LRP RPM and Torque.
SP good all rounder an lower temps than LRP

FDR's also will be different. If you run a SP 21.5 for instances if the FDR is for a particular track 5.0 : 1 than the TEKIN will be closer to 5.6 : 1. Hence you will have to choose a motor and experiment......

Cheers

The newest software can only be opened by right click on hobbywing icon on desktop. Then click on run as administrator. 110119 software will now be available. You will also need to reflash the LCD box.

I mean, it makes no sense, lower the start RPM for cooler motor temps.

Hi Guys

I have just finished the Instructions for the latest release of software just waiting for michael to change the wording in the firmware and we are right .

I have changed the wording so everyone understands from around the globe .

example :Boost timing has changed to the actual real deal (Dynamic timing )meaning the internal timing of the esc .

Turbo timing has changed to (Turbo boost timing ) which is the additional timing added onto the dynamic timing .Boost relates to turbo in the real world .

ok ill post it up tomorrow.

regards Angelo

Turbo timing=15 deg
Boost start=6000 rpm

Boost timing acc=350 rpm

Any help? Thanx rBakker. Here is my setting for the LRP x12 17.5.

With LRP X12 try the 101224, or wait until the newest 110211 is available....

Definition: a regular 'A' Finalist in the BRCA Nationals........ this was his first observation from the first competitive meeting with the HW equipment, he believed that the motor was being put under less 'strain' at lower boost start levels, we will update each time he files a race report with settings / track etc

Clear, never mind.
Lets just don't try to prove everything with science.

The best way to gain speed and have better lap times, is track time, and not forum time...
