I had a blast running mini cooper with you guys yesterday! Was great to get the M-06 back out on the track since the Black Friday turkey shoot.

17.5 is a little lackluster as the speeds that I was able to get out of my Novak 17.5 SS pro powered mini are slower than a good, TCS legal silvercan mini.

Thanks Casey Castleman for helping me turn the timing up on the SS. I am used to the Ballistics and was not sure how to do it on SS motors. The timing helped, and by the time I left I was sitting second vs. the Banks', Casey, and Rod. I know that the Ballistic with greater flexibility in timing adjustments will be faster, but it will not fit the M-06 so I'm stuck with a five year old motor...

I'll be back out again soon to tire tune the mini. I was running the kit M-06 tires. I like them (S rear, kit cardboard front). S spec tires are going to be a chore to get the right ballance on the M-06

That was some great racing yesterday. I had a blast running mini cooper, me and Tom L finished with hundreths of a second between the two of us coming across the line at basically the same time side by side. Not sure about next week if we will be attending the C or the ECR at middle river. Either way, see you guys thursday for some mini cooper fun

and if anybody is interested in a good TC- http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...l#post10348509 if it sell local ill take $25 bucks off the price.

Default TCS Ready M05 for 17.5 Class

Here's the body I did for my M05 for the 17.5 Mini Cooper class for TCS. I'm running with the 17.5 Speed Passion. I'm not concerned with timing advance - I just need to get better at cleaner lines and tighter turns.

nevermind. Vance's Mini picture is there now. Vance, nice looking Mini. Save this photo because it will never be the same after a race day

It was alot of fun to race with you on that last lap, hopefully we'll do it again soon, but probably not this weekend, i will be working on getting my new car tuned in so i can get an advantage over them guys that race on that carpet stuff all joking aside, we are very privileged to have this track as our main track, i got my start in RC here and have never had any issues with any of the people, i have always gotten the help i need when i need it. Props to Ed for running such a smooth program to! He does an awesome job of it
