The CRC cars aren't very popular around here but they are competitiv. With the newer '16 chassis you will to use an xray '16 body, any of the protoform bodies or a tamiya f104 pro body set (wings included). The tamiya f60 front wing is by far the most popular and just about any rear wing will work fine. There is little to no on track performance difference between any of the hard plastic wings.

Here's a shout out to all the F1 drivers, on road race this Saturday at NORA and if you want to stay late you can run the oval Saturday night!, it's just $5.00 if you ran on road that day.
Also you guys can come out and run oval every other Friday night too. ( a little Indy action)
So come out and dice it out wide open on the oval....

Last F-1 Round at H30 and F-1 NORA day coming up!
The race night between Christmas in New Years has typically turned big numbers at the Hangar, but this year was beyond our expectations. 44 entries on the night made for packed heats, stacked high with talent across all classes.....
Formula 1 also had a very strong showing thanks to some RCTech chatter and grassroots organization. Marcos made his first H30 appearance and was a welcome addition to the field. Bill took TQ with his smooth, clean driving style and well set-up car. The main saw Rob get around Bill for the lead, then fall victim to three consecutive incidents which pushed him to the back of the pack. Marcos has spent the evening coming to grips (see what I did there) with the “personality” of the H30 floor, and by the main he quietly made his way from 4th to 2nd and settled in for the duration of the race. Finishing order: Rob 3rd after charging from last place, Marcos 2nd and Bill 1st....

SOLD Hey I just purchased a 3 month old Exotek F1R3 aluminum chassis roller for $225.00 with 1 set of 571/572 used tires, 2 used bodies, 1 used front and rear wing and a bunch of misc parts if anyone here is looking to buy one. I spent about 8 hours on it cleaning it up and going through everything and setting it up to then realize that I really want something else. I would rather build something from the ground up so I’m familiar with every aspect of the car. I race at NORA and Seattle RC if you want to see it. I know this is not the for sale thread but this is within the group of people that I race with.
The first $225.00 takes it all. Text me or email me for pics and details 206-719-5771 [email protected]

Formula 1 day at NORA aprouching
For the Le Man car I found this cheap $4.00 easy to install light kit at e-Bay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4Pc-RC-On-Ro...AAAOSwgQ9VgUQq
We'll dim the light for the second half of the race, so no head lights ! Plus you get a 10 lap bonus with better visibility
For NORA VTA enduro I was hoping to form a team but didn't happen.
If any team needs a driver let me know to plan and show up
Cheers!

Le Mans Car body's for the 24 Minute
Hi all, I've been receiving questions about which bodys to use for the Le Mans 24 minute race, here are some examples all available in e-Bay:
GT-3 type:
Here is a nice Honda (imitation) pre-painted for $14.00 on e-Bay
Prototype 1 type:
Old group "C" type
What probably won't make the cut?
Most 17.5 spec body (not really any real car but just light shells in form of a car)
Or body's that look like cars but have never been in Le Mans
I hope this helps
BTW we will be at NORA Feb 18 for the club race and to practice before our F-1 day event. Practice makes it faster
