I'm very excited and really looking forward to the NORA carpet on-road programs this year. After a full summer of asphalt racing as much as possible and now with about 8 months of on-road experience I cant wait to see how much better my skills are on the carpet. Plus having oval racing in the evening on the same day will really cut down on diesel fuel...

1/12 WGT Spec tires (Purple Stripe)
Attention Stock 1/12 Scale racers... Just want to give you all a heads up as early as possible so you can plan ahead for the upcoming season. The WGT 1/12 tire with the Purple stripe will be the required Spec tire at NORA and Seattle RC this year. They are available through standard distribution channels and local hobby retailers.

Stock Touring and Scale Spec minimum weight requirements
Hello all... Just a heads up on some rule changes coming our way concerning Stock Touring Sedan. The minimum weight will be reduced to 1350g in T2 Sedan Classes as per the ROAR Rule update on October 1st.
This means that Stock Sedan class will be effected by this rule update and the miniumum weight is set at 1350g.
The Scale Spec Minimum weight will however remain unchanged at 1450g to stay consistent with the rules in our region.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Effective October 1st, 2016
ROAR would like to announce a change to rule 8.7.5.1 Weight for T2 sedans. The current weight is 1380 gr for this class. Other organizations have shifted to a 1350 gr weight limit for this class. In order to keep continuity internationally, we will change ROAR's limit to 1350 gr minimum as well.
Current minimum weight = 1380 gr
Proposed minimum weight = 1350 gr

Attention all you oval drivers. Bring your scale spec on road sedans out for this Saturday's Dan Bostrom Memorial Race. They make for some great door to door racing on the oval. I'm going to run 25.5 Scale Spec and 13.5 COT...
