Hope they will be obliging enough to come on the board and impart some info once they start running the G4S.
If not mistaken Bobby Flack ran the car last year and represented well under the Phenix Team banner.
Wish them all well ,they will have some fierce competition at the Winter Nats.

Just reading about Gansei's problem above - what is the consensus on failsafes for a pure racing car? I've just installed one on my brand new G4S, but did not run one on my old G4 EVO. Would a failsafe have helped in this situation? Are they considered troublesome on the track?

i had a similar problem last year. the connection vibrated loose and yes i did have one installed on my car. and i can say it was lightning fast to react. it did prevent a runaway 3 times before i found what was causing the problem. saved me some broken parts and damaging other cars on the track. i run the very small Q world fail safe. works very well.

A electronic failsafe is great but a spring on the throttle linkage is better especially if you lose powerfrom a broken wire or contact.

yes.. it is a titan head for OS 12TZ and Novarossi.

i installed chamber(mugen). so pressure line is long for easy chamber install.

after install chamber.. engine response is some mild.

Long pressure line reduces pressure fluctuations and a more consistent back pressure is better .... This may be the reason

The late Ron Paris said:

Adjusting the pressure line can give you a litle edge over the competition..

The longer the pressure line, the leaner you can make the midrange as the engine comes to full power.
This is caused by the delay in time it takes the fuel tank to reach maximun pipe pressure.
Keep in mind that this tip should be used as a fine tuning on your motor at the track.
Experiment with different lenghts, you'll be surprised using up to 10 inches of line.

Thats interesting ,but whether you have a short line or a long line the engine would still be lean at mid.Can you explain a bit more.
