Yep, front tyres should be 3mm smaller diameter than the rears, many here (Manti, Stefan and others) found that 3mm is the way to go with this alternate set of pulleys.
Regarding running softer rears, cannot tell you anything, still on mine car haven't used a softer rear than a front. Found it that I'm using 40's or harders everyday (doesn't matter if is Summer, Spring or Winter).
16/19 pulleys make their work because rear tyres have more meat thus having more tyre to wear, your rear end will go down at almost (or at the same) pace that fronts. Car handling changes a little (to better for everyone that tested it).

Corse is absolutely correct.
I'm not exactly sure why, but since I converted to 16/19, my tires wear at the same rate or at least almost.
Chuck, I run 42/42, but I use Speedmind tires.

Say you run on an unprepared track with little grip causing you to run softer rears(40 fr-35 rr)Using the 16/19 setup is tire wear still fairly equal? Also are these pulleys mugen or aftermarket?

Alvin, I am not a believer in different shore ratings front and rear and so far I have very rarely come upon a situation where I could not hook the car up with suspension changes.
the thing is, that even if you run same shore front and rear, the front tires will wear less than the rear, due to their different rubber content.
If you run 40/35,this will be heavily emphasized.
Try to work with setup, rather tan tire compounds.
It will keep your tire stock smaller as well.
The pulleys are stock Mugen pulleys, actually you only need another 16 tooth pulley, but the pulley set is inexpensive and you'll have some spare parts.

0.8 module recommendations
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone can advice me on the 0.8 module........currently I'm using the 1.0 module...17/48 with 21/44 for a coming race...can I use the same gear ratio as offered by the 0.8 module or do I hve to increase my gear ratio? I understand that the 0.8 gear offers a better top end speed....thks

This one I said is slightly longer on 1st gear (7,132 vs 7,097) and the same on 2nd gear (5,293 vs 5,246). Differences shouldn't be noticeable.
A slightly shorter and slightly more closed gearing (good for mid to high and strong 2nd gear shift) could be 21/59 with 25/52 and let your engine whine at the top end.

Cool, they have the specific belt available?.Aside from the tire wear is there any differences in handling(more or less steering etc...)Thanks.

IMO, keep it close to what you have is a pretty good starting point.
