Default New Evolva

I have been seeing bits and pieces about an 2007 Evolva....is this true or is Kyosho just adding some new bits to the 2005? I am ready for a change!! Thanks

My guess is it will just be a minor upgrade to the 2005 with these new parts like you said.

That is what we have been told, unlike many other manufacturers, Kyosho won't rush something to market that isn't significantly better, just for the sake of it being "new", especially with a car/platform that has a great track record.

As I look at the MRX-4r and 960, I really don't see anything areas where the Evolva falls short.

I can't imagine thought that there will be very many more upgrades, considering much of the platform comes from the original fantom.

I would expect to see an overhaul, within the next 2 years, IMO (pure speculation)

The Delta XP4 and 03 Kyosho Evolva are basically the same car. The XP4 can be upgraded to the 05 spec Evolva by replacing mainly the front/rear bulkheads and a few other parts.

I run a XP4 upgraded to the 05 specs. Great car that accepts a wide range of setups without it being undriveable.

Hi Aaron,

I have just purchased a 05 Evolva & i'm just enquiring what would be a base setup for a flat, fast & flowing track with medium to high grip that has only a few noticable bumps? I know it's difficult to answer but what would be some of the changes you would make first for this type of track?

ie: Would you still use the new rear short upper arms?
Which lower rear arm holders would you use?
Which front hangers & 0 or 2 Deg front knuckles etc

Thanks

Jason

The Evolva has only one model in the WC version "KYO 31285B"
Kyosko EVOLVA WC- On-Road Kit

RRR gets a little more difficult.

Jason here is a great site for Evolva setups. I have the WC model and I like the Ralph Burch setup... but you can even see Lamberto Collari's setup here.
