Nice! Where the heck do you guys find all this cool Kyosho stuff? FWIW, I've been running the TiNi shafts since they came out and my first set of fronts were cut down because they only made rears for the longest time.LOL

The amount of cool Kyosho stuff is mind bending. Go to the Japanese site and look at all the part numbers - astounding. Next trick - go talk to other Kyosho guys - just like we are doing here - each person you talk to will have something cool. For example: have you seen Kyosho's arm reams? Now, John, I know you pretty well - they are a must have! Better than that = how about the new end gauge for setting your clutch - oh Momma!

For those of you guys running the new Jaco rims. Are these wheels really tight on the rear axle? Mine seem to be at the point where it is hard to get the quick release lever to fully lock when putting them on. Any suggestions would be appreciated, otherwise I may just buy new axles and see how that goes.

They are snug at first but I think you will find that after you run the car they will loosen up to a better fit. Personally I prefer they fit tight rather than have play.. If it becomes a issue you can get a 12mm ream and ream they befor you mount them?

I had the same problem too. Fronts were fine, but rears would actually "bind" the drivetrain up. I was forced to run one set like that, but it did free itself up after a bit of running (as the above post states). But, it put a lot of heat in some of the parts back there too. My solution was to use a large flat grindstone in a drillpress and remove some of the surface area on the inside of the rim. It doesn't take much.

I'll try that. I never had any problems with the jaco rims until they went to the serpent rims.

Do any of you run a fuel filter in the pressure line? I've seen some with, and some without. Does this depend on the year of fuel tank you have?

I do run a fuel filter or mugen preshure chamber on all my preshure lines. The advantage of this is. It can reduce the amount of fuel line needed for the preshure line to mataine a stedy idle and helps limet the amount of fuel tank preshure lost when you get off the throttal and the engine comes back to idle. I seem to get more consistant idle and the engine comes back to idle much smoother with some kind of filter or chamber in the preshure line. It works well for me and they are fearly cheap to buy. You can try Team Orion preshure chamber which is better than anyone else because you can tweak it..

What is the different between springs 4.0-1.9 and 3.5-1.9 in the track?

Hi Nikoskar, Thats a good question I wouls also like to know how the Kyosho spring rates are classed. I am gessing here but i think it may have somthing to do with the spacing between the coils of the springs? Can one of the Big Kyosho factory drivers ancer this question for us?. Regards Jeremy.

Hi jeremy,

I found that 4.0-1.9 has more coils than 3.5-1.9.
Maybe with lower coils the spring has faster response.maybe.

Yes Nikoskar, I know that the 1.9 is the thickness of the coiles and the outher half has to do with how many coils and the rate they compress at. I would gess that the 1.9-3/5 is softer than the 1.9-4/0 but i wonder if one gets harder the more its compressed like a progressive spring?. Regards Jeremy.
