I didn't use the shim. Take it out and it will work fine.

Are they the Machined Steel rings?
if so then you do not have to use the shims

Can anyone tell me how to get parts for my car? Kyosho just started the new site and I can't find out how to get parts.

Default kyosho parts

hey joe, look in the contact section and use the tool free #. call and order over the phone, if you have the part #'s. the guy there was very friendly and my parts will be here tommorow. and the price was the same as tower when they carried parts. hope this helps.

got my parts from kyosho today as promised. ups does a good job of damaging the boxes! thank god itsw only plastic parts that i got. otherwise ide be worried. but its all good and kyosho rocks. i also asked the guy at customer service and he said i can order direct any time i need parts. great guys there.

Here's what I've upgraded on the car:

Kyosho front shock tower mount.
Kyosho Shimo 7075 Alum Chassis.
Kyosho optional steering plate (more tuning for steering acknowledgement)
Five Star Alum Center Shaft.
3 racing Quick Change Center Bulkhead
39T Heavy Duty Ring Gear.
Kyosho Front and Rear 3mm Graphic shock tower
4 pcs Alum Wheel Hex.
Kyosho Graphic Upper deck.
Alum Muffler Stay holder
Lightweight Foam bumper
1 piece skyline high performance VR12s pipe.
RRR Front and Rear upright (FW-05RR Use)
All Allen hex stainless screws
Kyosho Shimo 7075 Alum Chassis.
Kyosho Alum Brake Disk Hub
1200 Receiver Battery.

The Shimo chassis has seen only 4 races with no practice in between.

Congrats to Bobby Watson for winning the A-main today at Speedline Hobbies, Bobby was driving his Kyosho FW-05R with the Skyline VR12 pipe, Bobby's car was on rails he came from almost a lap down and battle his way to take over the lead at the last 2 minutes of the race! (with the help of my awsome pit work!! )
