you can use the v one rrr 3d except for the clutch bell, that for the fw05 is the same one for Evolva (check the codes)
i have one 3d if you still need it brand new but without chutch bell.
Guys now a question about overdrive, i have 38 and 37t gears, it will be fine to use the 37 front and 38 rear? or it will be too much higth ratio? what mm for the tires? and how it will change the balance of the car?
many thanks guys

Don't mean to bring an old thread back to life...
For all you kyosho experts/ FW-0x owners...is this car still worth owning today?
I'm able to pick up a second hand FW-05T+ for a pretty cheap price...
I'm looking for a touring car that will prob spend 80% of the time bashing in parking lot courses and the rest in casual racing on a dedicated track...
I've been looking around and parts isn't exactly easy to find for this car.
Or should I look into an RS4 for that pourpose?

Yes it's still worth it if you can find spare parts, I have enough parts to build three more minus the chassis. The diff gears/ housing can be found on new Kyosho models still... I'd reconmend buying spare gears, shock towers and control arms... These can be found cheap on eBay...but parts are starting to dry up!
Also, look on Kyosho (Japan) webpage and download the user manuals for the FW cars. With those part numbers you can cross reference many parts that are still used in other current production kyosho cars.
It will be the best handling basher out there! Not as fast as the current HPI evo3+ but will out handle them little effort!

How do I go about fitting a O.S. Max 12TZ into my FW-05 or FW-06?
1) I think I need engine mounts. No idea where to get them.
2) Need rear exhaust
3) Would like a pull starter fitted to it. I know there's a .12 O.S. with a pull starter (or it might have been the .15).
4) Maybe need a new clutch
I'm just a Car Park racer.

Hi all
I am hoping I could get some help in getting my Kyosho FW05S back in to action, the last time I had it running was in 2005.
Recently I've had the urge to get it going again. The GS15r engine has bit the bullet but I do have spare engine and 2 speed transmission set for it (purchased in 2005), but I can not seem to get it all to marry up.
Here is a breakdown of what I have-
Car: Kyosho FW05S, Stock Chassis.
Engine: .12 Sirio S12-SE
Other: VSW030 2 Speed Transmission set.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
