I have heard from a fairly reliable source that Kyosho will no longer be producing evo wc type of kits, the evo 2 is supposedly the top end kit from Kyosho until the next car.

Without seeing a parts list, I guess that means we are missing cvd's, hollow shafts and a few other random small pieces?

just a quick question to the guys that are building the EVO2.

I am buying some hudy wrenches, and want to make sure I got all the wrenches covered:

1.5mm hex
2.0mm hex
2.5mm hex
3.0mm hex
5.5mm nut driver
7.0mm nut driver

am i missing in, or do i not need any?

also, do you recommend any particular ball drivers (over hex drivers)?

thanks

i would recommend a ball version of the 2,5mm hex wrench. it's very good for the top engine mount screws and the muffler screw.

i just finished my evo2 last night and found some likes and dislikes on it.
i don't like the fact that i had to cut the servosaver in case of usuing the front diff of my old evo on the evo2 and that the rear shock stay only has 4 setup points, now. i definitely like the new 2-speed shoes and 2nd gear with steel ring. i already used the shoes after the release of the M3 and they shift more smooth than before.

I think he is talking about the part number for the 2 speed shoes, not the clutch. Order the 2 speed shoes from the M3.

does anyone have a problem with the new 2 speed clutch that come with the evo2 kit?i believe the clutch is the same material that came up with the new evolva....the new 2 speed clutch has a tendency to "slipping" after a few run compare to the old one (RRR wc)...
