i am running no kickup but a good bit of anti squat. I find this drives really well. What is the concensus on kick up and squat? Does the car generally run better with or without kick in the front? anti squat in the back?

After a lot of playing with the setup and a few tips from Merdith6 (Thanks) finally came accross a setup this weekend that felt really good, so I figured I would post it.......

Anyway, car was nimble and quick, had tons of steering while still being easy to drive. Still want to play with a couple things, but, it was really good.

Also, it has the extended chassis.

Wow I never ran the shocks that stood up I bet you have ton of steering and probably springs off the jumps as well.

Ok so i have a question about setting the upper arms on the mbx6. On all the set up sheets it shows the pills either down-middle- or in the upper possition.

So does that mean that you set both front and rear pills to the down-middle or upper possition?

Or do you leave the rear one in the down possition and only change the pills in the front shock tower!?

Thanks for the help in advance, its something i have never understood with the pivot ball front end.

That's a can o' worms. I think these days everyone sets the front the same way as the back but the reason for the pillowball suspension is so that the front upper and lower hingepins can be set at different angles so caster changes through the travel, presumably so there's less caster under compression (turn in) and more at extension (stability). The old MBX5 had some caster change unless you put ~1.5mm spacers between the hinge and top plate.

Which servos are u guys using for the throttle? I tried to mount a Savox 1256 but the body of the servo seems too high and I can't mount the throttle linkage it hitting the servo case itself.

I had the same problem with the HiTech 7985. I'm using the Hudy arm now. Plenty of clearance as it is raised up a bit.

You change both front and back to the hight you want.
