Yeah, I had this problem with the outer suspension pin of the rear hub after a couple of runs, but I hadn't crashed to cause it. The pin fractures where the grub screw tightens onto it. Funny thing is that I warned a fellow racer to look out for it after their first run of their brand new TC and sure enough, theirs had broken too.

I switched all mine to the gold coloured WCE versions and I haven't had a problem since.

Any ideas?
1. Your FR Pivot Block shim to higher , around 1mm only !
2. yes this holder not fit , so need cut around 1mm.

I only changed the outer pins but I did change them all as the handling goes to pot when the pin snaps and works it's way out to grind against the inside of the wheel.

I have not had a problem with the inboard ones.

just dremmel/file down about .5mm-.75mm from the bottom part of the right side bulkhead arch(under the side where the top deck attaches on the right rear side) and it will fit

Yep....what yyhayyim said. I didn't measure the exact amount I shaved off though. I just did a little at a time until it fit without being too tight.

Thank you yyhayyim & STLNLST
I'm using a 3.5 chassis and I have 22.5mm of room now. The SMC 5000 is 24.5. If I take 2mm off the tab over the lipo there will only be 2.5 left of the tab, I thought that might be somewhat on the thin side
Thanks again guys

Running the thicker 3.5 chassis will also take away a little room that you gave to work with. Yo lose an extr 1mm to work with compared to what I had.

Rubber chassis = 2.5mm
Foam chassis = 3.5mm

I agree. The bulkhead sits on top of the chassis so unless I am thinking wrong the extra 1mm shouldn't matter since everything on the chassis sits 1mm higher

They are milled down at the bulkhead mounting points (at least on my foam chassis and all the other chassis I have seen).
