Again I stress to those with the power.
Develope the Pro 4 into the Pro 5 keeping the shaft!!!
A shaft HPI and a Belt HB will only help in the long run. Develop Both PLEASE!!!!

CAD pictures and closeups

Like I said before I'm sure the Pro 4 won't be discontinued.

Tim - to answer your question about the Pro 4 belt concept, that was strictly a one-off, the designers of the HB car I'm sure had no access to Myrberg's car.

RE: comments about this being a carpet design - this was an asphalt race!

The only problem i see with a HB car is getting parts it's a real hit and miss deal,The cars are not hard to get ahold of..but parts are,for me it's still worth it,you just need to stock up on stuff you think you'll need.

I just saw pics of this new car. So excuse this question if its already been asked.

If Hara and Surikarn are developing and racing this new car, what happens with them and HPI? I mean, they both are still HPI sponsored, so what happens with HPI's flagship (and damned good) Pro4?

nothing says that drivers connot be sponsored by two companys........

so as HPI and Hotbodies are the same company they can just let each have the driver and use either car.... depending on which one goes best at different race tracks

Why you think at parts are hard to get to that new baby

As i look wright, many parts fit directly from Pro4

You know people (with the inside the "biz" knowledge) have said that many, many times some people just refuse to listen...and think because both companies use purple colored aluminum, they must be related...

I know the original owners of Hot Bodies, and they DID NOT SELL THE COMPANY TO HPI!! It was a little hobby shop, Rick's I believe, that bought the Hot Bodies name...If you've ever called HB, you get the hobby shop - nice people, a little slow on shipping but nice people - not a person employeed by HPI...

And for the record, HB has yet to produce any of their own vehicles - all HB-branded vehicles are rebadged (something that Trinity does with its TSPEC and SPyders)

so what your saying is this will probably be built by hpi and rebadged for hotbodies and then why would hpi allow theirtop driveer use another brand car for a race see HB just won the thai race not HPI right?
