On the surikarn and hara kits, is the cutting of the chassis still required under the front diff like hara shows on the above guide? It says on the guide that it is not always needed!

I would say yes...since both kits are identical.

I've done it anyway on both my Hara and Surikarn just to be sure. I don't think it matters whether your car is an original Cyclone or one of the special editions.

Talking TUB chassis!

Has anybody heard about the new tub chassis for Hot Bodies. All the Hara aluminum hop ups and composite shock towers will fit on the new tub. I saw it at RCX and they it was plastic and fiberglass. The finish was amazing very smooth. They must have spent a lot of time on the mold!
One of the reps said it suppose to be out in two weeks! Has anybody else heard of when it will come out and hopefully there will be plenty of parts support at the LHS!

The Cyclone S will not hit the market for another 3 months or so.

The chassis is slightly different, the diff cutouts is a little larger and the battery slots are a little bigger.

Try Stormer Hobbies..
they have 3 or 4 left of the Surikarn editions.
Hara Edition sold out quickly.
