Recalibrate ESC, etc...
You might consider installing a capacitor (glitch buster) -

Does anyone know if the Tamiya GTR R35 LED Light buckets will work with HPI's GTR R35 body?

I wonder if the GTR 35 shell that Matrixline make would fit the light buckets on the HPI too. They look a very similar shape between the two models.

You might score better checking the drift threads about those buckets (?)

Or maybe the paint threads (?)

Talking Off Road S2???

Got me a set of these hoops (the center hole is already 5mm for the axle barrel nut)

&

I have the 13mm extenders =

http://www.rctech.net/forum/11714226-post311.html

I'm gonna see what kind of trouble I can get into...

Might go to the 19mm and my Parma 41 Willys --- (?)

ALSO:
The battery move mod coming soon (now that I'm tearing the car down for maintenance.
..)

Hello, I am New to R/C my Girlfriend got me the HPI sprint 2 sport and this is my first R/C I ever owned, I currently have my r/c taken apart because I am upgrading to Brushless setup. I picked up on the vektor 5900kv and a vapor esc. I saw this forum because I was searching on Lipo 2s battery to see if it fits. Thanks Marv for the post about the Lipo Battery upgrade !

Your GF made a wise choice (IMAO) =
The S2 is a great entry level car.

You may need this =

http://www.hpieurope.com/manuals/pdf/100424.pdf

Pay particular attention to your gearing so you don't jazz something up...
AND pay attention to detail when setting up your ESC for FAIL SAFE and LiPo use!

AND get yourself a decent charger - I use one of these =

http://www.rcplanet.com/DuraTrax_Ony...p/dtxp4245.htm

There are better and there are worse... I like it because it's affordable for me, charges 2 batteries at the same time, it will run off AC or 12v power supply or my 1:1 car battery... and it comes with the adapter wires and the balancing boards = It work's for me and my needs...

Check the threads you may find something else that you like better.

FYI = You will need about 10 (TEN) posts (and Moderator approval) before you can post pics and / or links. They are really good at being quick.

Are you going drift? Or grip race (on road at a local track)? or Street bash?

If you have a mod or something that you do differently post it up!
All voodoo is welcome here.

And thank you for thanking me.

Default VOODOO '57 CHEVY

This may well lead to trouble - - -

HPI Sprint 2 Mods-dscn4699.jpg

Just mocked up so far ---

I think I'd rather sacrifice the '57 than the '41 at this point...
