Here is a link to the official page that lists all specific parts allowed in the class. I personally run the Novak Edge/Ballistic 25.5 system

The edge would probably be the smallest. I just starting running the gtb2 xdrive after having an edge for over a year. I like the gtb2 better, but the edge is smaller.

Yep, I've got both as well. You are exactly right.

I started with a TC4, Novak Edge, Savox 1258tg full size servo, and a standard size Futaba reciever. I mounted the reciever on top of the servo, and everything fit real well. You'll want to shorten the motor leads a little for a clean installation.

You'll need to clearance out the chassis, motor plate and motor clamp in order to run around a 4.0 FDR. I was able to fit a 43t pinion in it with the stock 66t spur in mine ( 48p ), which netted a 3.83 FDR.

Im using the TC4 also and I find everything fitting nice and neat...Im using the Hobbywing esc and its a good size...and full servo XP 1313 and space isnt an issue...

Im also using the fan duct system, which works really nice

You gonna be at Thunder sunday? I want to see that duct system. You went to the 64p gears? Did you still have to clearance everything to get it to fit?

didnt do any grinding...I took my needle nose pliers and simply cleared enough to let the pinion roll free...it worked out nice...the cool thing is that when you get one of the new AE TC4 Club Racers...its in the manual about making space for gearing...

The Fan Duct system is by far the coolest thing on it...it worked great with the esc,SS motor, and rx...and left room for the servo...

Kenny I ran it Sunday blue Z28...pic below...I didnt do anything to it as far as setup...and it was really great out the box...still pulled a 12 sec lap with it...Im sure with some adjustments to it incl ride height and camber...it will be tops...

and yes Ill be there Sunday

You went with 64p gears then? I didn't and had to do alot of surgery to get the motor to roll away from the spur in order to fit the 43t 48p pinion

Hideeho
That's how you win! Your running a "sucker car"!

Shouldn't that be a 2j body instead of a j71?
