What do you guys use to balance the car? I have seen people use 4 scales, some use little pointed stands for the car to sit on. What options are out there and roughly how much would they be. I have my car dialed in really well but I need to pick up some more corner speed. I think its actually a little too tight. Im going to try to balance it first before doing anything else.

Dogbones are the same, it's the oneway outdrives. They are longer on the NTC3 than they are on any electric. Electric cars are 190mm, Nitro's are 200mm.

wouldn't they just stick out a bit more? couldn't you just grind them down a tad for them to work on an electric?

Ummm, no. You would have to grind down the outdrive section...the side that the dogbone goes into....a total of 2.5mm per side. You would lose quite a bit of engagement. Now, I'm not saying it's impossible, but the outdrives are hardened steel and not as easy to grind down as aluminum, CF, etc.

You can try it though....good luck with that.

lol i won't be grinding one down....i don't even have a one-way to grind down

plus, i don't run one-ways...just can't stand them for some reason.

and if i ever wanted to run a oneway, i'd run one specifically for an electric car

How do you know which CF grade material we use? Do you have one of our cars in your hands and had the material analyzed? We use quasi-isotropic everywhere in this car, chassis top deck, spine, and towers. I don't know where you get off claiming that it's component grade.

How can you have 'specificly placed' something and be 'not really sure where it ends up' ?

Again with the comparisons to a car you don't have in your possesion. What makes you think that our chassis is narrowed only on the battery side?

Is this BMI's syle of engineering? Using conjectures and speculation?

Why are you asking us??? Aren't you driving a BMI car??? We don't know HOW the BMI guys are doing it.

For our cars, we use scales to balance them. We also have another in-house method, but we'd rather keep that as our little 'in-house' secret.

Funny how we are ranting and venting, yet we are merely responding to some posted claims. More like defending a product that no one knows anything about, but claims to be experts on.
