Aluminium is very soft, you would bend any hinge pins made out of it on the first impact. If anything you want Titanium ones.
Or do you mean Alloy hinge pin blocks?

Wow! Great to hear the arms are slightly better considering I broke about 4 so far. Maybe I cant drive
At my local race track, the tc4's seems to be doing pretty well. Out of three Tc4's 2 were in the A main, (1st and 3rd) and 1 was in the B main ( 1st.........me )
Now are those "hard polished" hinge pins actually stiffer than the normal black ones?
(Not being sarcastic)

I got a question for you guys. I have a tc3 and its not slow but I feel that the edge it lacks to the new car will overall catch up and it will be 3 times as hard to keep up. Its already difficult with all the x-ray's, pro4's, etc. I was just wondering for you guys who have had or have both cars, do you think it was an overall better to get the new car. I know at the beggining that everyone was having setup issues, but they seem to be coming around and gettin faster (just like the one at my track). I like the car and all the improvemtns, just wanted your guys opinion. Thanks

Personally mate I think the TC4 is a big improvement on and off the track compared to the TC3. The TC3 was, and is, a great car but the TC4 has taken it all and refined it.
I'd definitely recommend the change.
