Hey Matt, my 1s 13.5 worked great @ the TZII GP! Ended up with 5* of endbell timing. I don't think my temps ever got above 147*.... had to put a Tekin RS Pro in the car during the event. Now I just have to 'optimize' the settings. Thanks for the great motor

MurfDogg Team Drivers had a very Strong Showing at the TimeZone Grand Prix over the weekend!

Dave Erlich piloted his factory CRC car with MurfDogg Synergy 10.5 1s power to the WGT TQ, and a second place overall finish! He was very competitive in Modified 12th scale also with his MurfDogg Synergy 4.0 1s motor under the hood!

Max Kuenning also was lightning fast all weekend, with his Factory CRC cars with MurfDogg Synergy power. He qualified 2nd in 13.5 12th scale with his Synergy 13.5 1s motor, and finished a strong third place after contending for the win. Max powered his Modified 12th scale car with MurfDogg Synergy 4.0 1s power as he put himself on the podium in Mod also!

Great job guys! I am proud of the performances you boys put in over the weekend, and thanks to all the MurfDogg Customers out there also!

I picked up a couple of your motors at the Timezone GP. They worked well for me. I have them at home now and would like to Dyno them. I have a Turbodyno 45 setup with a Brushless ESC so I can dyno brushless motors. I know your dyno will read a bit different than mine, but I was curious what settings you were using on the TD to dyno the motors. I figure that way I can test them, along with my other motors to see the differences. The motors had tons of rip, so I am curious to see the results on the dyno!

Great news!

With the Black Diamond ESC's, our CRC, Advanced, MurfDogg drivers have it well figured out.

Being that I do not get out to the carpet track often, (only one, and they do not race often) we are still fine tuning our Tekin setups. We have our non-boost profiles figured out though!

Default 17.5 LRP no boost gearing

Hi Matt, picked up a 17.5 Synergy from Velocity, I previously posted for gearing/timing recomendation for 17.5 no timing. I got a response for Tekin V208 software-Do you recommend the same starting point for the LRP SXX Stock spec set at no timing? Thanks in advance.

I have not run anything but the Tekin and a Novak GTB in no-timing mode... they ran identical. I figure without timing, brand does not matter... but we all know someone someday will have a blinking light with somethin funny going on... especially with no way to tech it besides a blinking light.

I will gladly test any ESC on Spec mode to find out who, if anyone is cheating in spec mode.... I have a few ways to compare ESC's and check for timing boost, or timing advancement throughout the powerband. And if I ever find anyone a company doing "ACTIONS DETRIMIENTAL TO THE SPORT", I will call them out publicly, and share my test data and proof.

I am a huge proponent of no timing racing, and if anyone undermines the integrity of that form of racing, I will be very upset.

Just my thoughts on that.....

Test Tekin, ROAR moved them to pending until software improvements. I ran mine on profile one and it sure does seem like zero compared to 45deg of boost.

The zero rule for stock is really causing quit a stir in our ECT series. People trying to figure out if there LRP is legal and Tekin pending on the list three days until it starts and its all mucked up.

Several Murfdogg motors are running in stock though so all those guys will be in the A.

I have tested Tekin and LRP and Novak, and seen no issues..... so far. They need to be on their best behavior for now though, as everyone is watching...

Hey Matt....THAT'S EXACTLY what I need. A 13.5 non-boosted Tekin RS Pro setup. Please PM me the Tekin values?
Thanks brah

Yeah...I can understand where you are coming from but let me remind you that one driver's 'fun' is another driver's 'boring'.....just sayin'
