by the way, the kit springs are about 13.5 lbs/in stiffness. at least that's what mine tested at. do you run these? that's a little soft, but given the small roll inertia due to chassis layout, they may be right on. your thoughts guys. thanks.

I tend to run my cars (with swaybars) alittle soft. If I'm NOT running swaybars I go heavy, spring wise.

those are the parts i got but you need 2x KX026
You dont need 96998 b/c those are the same bearings that ride inside the front diffs. you do need the 10x15's. I forgot about those.

but hey at least you get a full set of suspension mounts.

the best $60.00 I ever spent. The car is unstoppable. ran a bout 5 more times since i put in the rear diff in the front and the works great. the oneway was a little quicker coming out of the turns.

Default KX-One questions

Is the caster adjustable? How and wich degrees? What about anti squat and kick up?

Those one-way bearings work a rounds, do they fix the problem? Anything new about the one-ways?

dude, that's good stuff! got a good laugh at that. and no, i think you're ok.

i haven't run the kxone yet, as i'm waiting for another to arrive to steal the diff out off. ya think anyone would want a kxone with front and rear oneways? full speed ahead! i wish this thread was more active. i've been part of the schuie thread since rctouring and it's just awesome. sponsored drivers, speedtechrc's steve WANG, and schumacher usa's general manager adrian m all post there. it's so good. has anybody had any success at the track with the kx? lhs guy here ran it until the oneway surrendered. said everyone was commenting on how smooth it transitioned. makes sense. man, i can't wait.

keep me posted fellas. later.

some update on KX one.

The servo saver is too soft so it will react slower than your servo. Most of you will experience oversteer because of this. Quick fix is to glue the saver but you will lose the protection to your servo.

I am trying with the tamiya saver to fit. trying!

Use at least 2 degree toe -in on the rear. You can cut the lower arm mount to get more rear toe-in. Kyosho drivers using 2.5 at the HK international and they were FAST.
The track was on the slippery side, fyi

Try to run the belt tighter than usual. You will get lot more torque from this car if you do this. YOu may lose bit of efficiency but this car is one of the most efficient on the market so not to worry.

I don;t know why, but the Kyosho guys used the original one way with no problem. 6 drivers, none of them had any probelm with the one way.

I used the Tech one way- If you can't get access to it, use the diff on front.
