Kevin K, nice mod on the steering levers... ...just what I need for the brick 2x4's at my track.

Steering Cranks
The steering cranks have been a long time pet peeve of mine on the Mi2.
If you search way back in the threads almost 1 year ago you will see there were past discussions with people arguing "its a problem" and others saying "no its not" with the "no its not" crowd seeming to take offense at others who were having a problem.
MattW first gave me the suggestion and was one of the first to come on to verify there was a problem and offer a solution. I have his epoxy solution as well as my own.
I have about 10 spares but have not required any since coming up with a similar solution as Kevin K except I used some spare graphite from an old off road car.
While you can say drive and stay off the walls, breaks can happen in a crash as well. I have seen two Mi2s in a local 19T race taken out by one car crashing into both of them going a around a turn too hot.
The steering cranks are a problem and I am glad that others who do have a problem have found a solution but also upset that Schumacher still has not done anything to address the issue.
Before the flames start, I have owned an Axis, Axis 2, Mi2 and hopefully by the end of the year an EC but that does not mean I can't have some Constructive criticism

Use the back of the calipers where the rod extends to measure to the top of the axle and adjust until it's just touching the calipers. I hope that describes it right. If not, let me know and I'll take a pic and post it.
Nice mod, Kevin. I'll definitely do that for my bellcranks.
2x4's + carpet + foam tires + an early turn in= instant death to parts
Those dots suck too. (not to minimize the difficulty of driving around dots and not launching your car.)
Here's a pic of Kevin's car at the Novak race at Trackside. You can imagine what turning in early on a turn like that will do.

actually, now that I look at that pic again, it was probably the most forgiving of all the turns on that layout. most of the turns had a sandbag on top of the turn so that the wall wouldn't move.
Listen to you guys complaining about your tracks. At leatsyou guys have indoor tracks to speak of . NOthing is worst than hosting one of the biggest races (snowbirds) and getting your a$$ handed to you every year from guys that have indoor tracks to speak of.
I hear you. We are lucky to have great indoor tracks nearby.
However, FL sounds good right about now...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about SoCal. I've struggled there but it is nice having somewhere indoor to race on a regular basis. Even if it is 100 miles away. We're lucky to have that.
True. Im going to tell you though. It sucks looking forward to race day and then it freak'n rains.
Euge: Of course its beautiful today. there are no races. Say lets race a couple times and i bet you it'll freak'n snow.

Any of you guys ever race in the rain? I saw some video from a race in Europe where they did that. That would be kind of fun.... except for all the additional prep work and potential shorts...
Hey Jon...How about shrinking that pic...
Here are some more foam tire setups:
Teemu is on vacation for 2 weeks so it will be a little while before I have his setup.
I did make a mod to my front A-arm: filled the stock shock mounting holes and redrilled in the center
