helo again, got the trf shocks on ther way, can some one send me a set up 4 a stock standed car but with trfs on? im in the uk on tarmack runing 19t spec if it helps, just wanted a set up as a starting point with them. if u have got it on a schumacher set up sheet could i have that as i understand them better lol but if not it dnt mater,

I don't think the TRF shocks can get long enough to use with the stock shock towers. You'll need to get the lowered towers to use them I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think they will work if you use the long shock tops.

TRF shocks can be used with std towers. You just need to use the normal Schumacher bottom ball joint, and build them to std shock length. From memory this needs to be 64 front, 67 rear. I could be wrong on that though.
If you look on the schumacher site, i am fairly sure that any of our "UK" setups will be with TRF shocks, and AE springs. Towers will probably be the low ones, but i guess this is usually stated. If they are low towers, use the same rear location as the sheet says, but use the middle hole on the front (short towers have different top mounting points). If they are Teemu towers, then you can use the same hole as the sheet says.
Hope at least some of that makes sense!!

yep alot of that makes sense thanks, im geting the teemu low mounts anyway. thanks 4 the setup Adrian i will giv it ago but will have to make it a bit higher ride hight as our track is a bit bummpy lol. thanks all. bob

Speaking of Tamiya shocks, I just got my set today
I noticed that the instructions tell you to place an o-ring between the piston and shock body to limit the shafts travel. Is this how everyones is running theirs? Or can i just leave them out?

Ok, I left the o-rings out and with the standard tamiya shock end I've got a length of 62mm - with an extra couple of mm to play with.
