Are the Xray part no. 307214 front lower hinge pins 3mmx80mm? It doesn't give you the exact specs on teamxray.com. The corally pins on my C4 got mangled a week ago and I'd rather replace them with pins that arn't as soft.

Cheers.

Could someone who knows Joneser let him know he's got PM?

Or, if you see this, Joneser, you have PM.

I wonder if someone could offer me some advice on building xray shocks?

The problem I'm having is that, I can't seem to build them so they have no rebound. I bleed them in the way the manual says to do it and still I have rebound. The only way I can eliminate it is to bleed to much oil out and then I end up with a shock that has air in it.

The shocks are from the xray FK I bought a couple of months ago and I have until now been running them with rebound, but I would like to get them operating properly. I have built xray shocks before but can't remember ever having this problem.

evaa, I did that to my rubber and foam car that I race on carpet. I only changed the caster on the foam car. I ran plaid and purple jacos. The rubber car uses CS27's, but by the time I did the short arm conversion my tires were shot and I only had 3 more races left. So I didn't change anything.

You will always have a little rebound. That is in the rubber cup and the air that is compressing behind it. If you really want to get rid of that, you will need to drill a small hole. (not recomended, unless you want to re-build them more often and risk an oil leak.)

the rebound should be from 1/4 to 1/2 inch and be pretty slow. It doesn't impact the performance of the shock though.
