Default Tamiya F104 Pro!

I went hunting for M05 stuff and this showed up as well. Looks interesting, though not totally different from the rest of its F10x cousins!

Is it just me or do the rear tyres look awfully narrow compared to an F103?

Was told there is no set release date yet.

I was looking at Tech's version of their TF108 LE Black Graphite kit and it's really nice.

The tyres are representative of the more modern formula 1 cars (post 1998) where they narrowed the track & gave them skinnier tyres with grooves in them. The f103 was designed around the cars of the early 90's era when they had the the wider wheels.

Looks like we have to wait until May 2009.

From what I can see.

Narrower rear tiires. Front A-arms upper and lower extend back to the rear of the servo mount. Lots of strength and stablility there!. The upper deck with shock mount is included, no expensive upgrades. Battery runs down the center. This car might have better ballance. And electronics trays. This might actually fit well under the body. I'll give it a try for sure.
