42168 touring car short spring set (black) is the same as the mini car set.
That and a normal red will get you in the ball park for most situations.

In case you guys don't frequent the other F1 thread, I got the first batch of my carbon fiber decal sheets on Friday.
I wrapped some 104 upper arms with it and took some shots of them as well as the sheet of material.

As this thread has made me wonder how challenging it would be to drive the F104 in the rain. Has anybody tried that?

No more or less challenging than a F103. When the rain first starts the track will be very slippery. Once it gets wet enough though the grip gets higher than when the track was dry.

HUGE thanks for posting those videos on how to set up the 104, they were extremely helpful.

I only wish I would have seen them BEFORE I built the kit, so I would have done it right the first time...lol
