I guess this will do for now. Tamiya should re-release the Ferrari F189 as well.

Thanks. I used Tamiya's PS-48 Anodized Aluminum backed with black and for the wing I used Tamiya'a model paint for plastics Metallic Aluminum. The match is close enough for me.

my chrome paint didnt stick that well. in some areas it chipped off when i got hit. it still looks ok because i touched it up. do you think that paint will stick good? do you plan on cacing that body?

Tamiya's paint works great and never chips. I just started using their paint last year and I will never use anything else as far as rattle cans go.
Definitely going to race this body.

So far I hear thumbs down on on the F104W rubber tires....maybe they will bring back the old A & B tires for the McLaren, since they would fit..

Hi,

I bought a DX3S yesterday. Now I want to mount the sensors for telemetry. Unfortunately, I cannot manage to get the rpm sensor mounted at a suitable place near the spur. The manual says that it should be mounted with 1/8" space between sensor and spur.

I used the silver sticker on the side of the spur because of the black kit spur (104 teeth).

I've acutally mounted the sensor between diff and the screws which hold the motor. But double sided tape doesn't work so well.

How is the best way to mount that piece?
