They are from an italian company: World Racing Car. Havent heard of them before but not having to mount foams is a big incentive.

I'm trying to get an idea of how I should place my electronics. The RX side(right side) chassis "wing" space seems useless since the battery swings out on that side. Velcro mounted RX maybe?

Thanks in advance!
I haven't got a picture to post as I'm away from home, but I have used small velcro dots to mount the rx and esc. Have been using it for a couple of races and has performed really well. I just mounted the electrics the same as the F104 layout.

They sure look nice.
In SoCal almost every track is leaning towards rubber for the F1 class, TCS will include foam again for 2011 (only Tamiya do) but did not open the foam class at the 2010 North America Finals.

Is the F104 future destined to be rubber?
I like it so far, plus you don't have to be adjusting ride height all the time therefore you can calculate and adjust a fix roll out or play to see which one is best for your track without dealing with tier degradation.

Cheers!

Thats because in Cali the wheather is beautiful and you race outdoors year round and rubber looks cooler too. I do agree about less adjustments.

Shipping from Italy is crazy. I bought a body once and the shipping was the same price as the body.

Some company needs to produce a foam with firm to hard sidewalls. That would be the hot ticket.

yes, shipping will be insane. i like foam and currently run it on an indoor carpet track, but i do like rubber because they are cheaper and last longer. i bought some spice f1 foams, which are good, but cost a small fortune. my nitro foams are cheaper and better, why do they cost so much?

Were actually running rubber on indoor carpet in so cal at TQ Racing. But when they run the club races id love to have some of these foams to run.

You should try shipping from the US. i bought a dizzy for a car for $10, it cost $50 to get it to Australia. Wolf hobbies minimum shipping rate is $30, even if it's just a set of arms.
