do you have any setup tips for andernach?
We have to drive sorex 36r with 13,5t motor.
Which body shall i use?Is tire tweak ok as additive or woul you use something else?

TRF shocks
Mr Groskamp..mind if i called you Jilles? its easier that way !
I have a question about TRF shocks. i read somewhere you are talking about rebound. By that you mean when you push the shocks in (withouth spring), they come out by themselves? I also heard u do not put in the orange urethane foam bushing on top. i find the TRF shocks odd. with 30wt oil 2 hole piston, when pushed in, the shock shaft comes back out very fast. When i use 60wt oil 2 hole piston also, shaft pushed in, it comes out slower. why is this? also is it normal for it to come out so far back to full extension?
is it true by removing the orange urethane bushing in the shock top chamber, i will get more traction? what is the actual purpose of the urethane bushing?
if you recomend to drill a small hole on the top plastic, is 1mm size enough? i hope you can help me with this...Thank you !

This week we will go again for final tests in Germany.

Most of the time the lightweight works better then regular weight.
However I agree that the wing is too soft, therefor I run a regular weight wing most of the time.

I can imagine that on a bumpy parking lot you also crash sometimes.
When you crash most of the time the spoolcup is damaged.
I don't have a solution for this.

I don't know exactly the set-up, but I didn't run any bladder in the shock.
Maybe I write it wrong on the set-up sheet.
99% of the time I run my shocks without rebound, therefor ofcourse without any shims,foams or o-rings on top of the bladder.
I ran 700 because this thick oil works better on a hot surface. It has better balance and it doesn't overheat the tyres. In the evening I could run softer like 550.

Hi Jilles,
Being driven absolutely nuts by an issue I am having with my 416X. At the start of the race, the car is great, as the race goes on, the car gets worse and worse.
Turn a corner and the rear of the car steps out, and the car really starts to oversteer heavily, and at times traction roll. It costs me up to 1/2 a second a lap as i have to back off to get thru corners and widen my apexes to keep the car as straight and stable as I can.
It had me confused, as a few days before at a weekend event (we race on Wednesday nights, indoors) the car was great, and I hadn't adjusted it between the weekend and Wednesday.
I have tried many different setup ideas and nothing is solving the problem. Out of curiosity i measured my tyre temps when i pulled the car off the track. The fronts were 10deg (c) warmer then the rears, i checked and my dad was also having the same issue. His rear tyres were also cooler then his fronts.
We race on carpet so we use tyre warmers before the race. It seems to be that as the rear tyres cool they are loosing their grip and the fronts are taking over. Which makes sense as to why the car was so good during the weekend event, it was warmer conditions and tyre temps stayed even.
How can I get around this? Is there a way to keep more heat in the rear tyres so it doesn't go off so damn much.
Also took notice that my front tyres wear a lot fast then my rears do.
