415 questions
Hello all, Just picked up my first Tamiya 415 MSX onroad car. Have been reading up on the thread and had a few questions. I have been reading quite a bit about belt breakage etc. What center pulley do I need to purchase? Also want to run a spool on the car which would you recommend and do I also need to purchase a seperate front pulley for that as well?
Thanks
Thanks

Also if I could find out part #'s that would greatly be appreciated.
spool Tamiya 49358
center pulley Tamiya 53708
I have not had any belt issues in stock and 19t...the guys at the worlds had probs , but they are running 7x1 etc....

There also seems to be some quality differences from belt to belt. Some wear forever and others appear to be about to go away after one run.

You are talking about right?
...contemplating it, but want to make sure I am getting the "latest and greatest" if I do this.

Has anyone seen that the msrp is lower then the msx? That would be nice if it was around 400 not 450
I would say it will be about $400 and that means sign me up!!!! I can't wait to grab one of these, though I know I won't be able to sell my MSX for much.

Precision RC has them listed at a discounted price of $490USD.
Finally, a Tamiya kit that includes a spool!
