From the worlds....
Update to the new steering already....
look at where the servo ball link connects, it's now a vertical ball stud rather than a horizontal one as on the Evo5 linkage.
Also note the large shim on the servo horn ball joint... interesting

At last i have managed to break something on my old TRF415 while racing on sunday, did a tripple role with a half pike into the fence at stafford at the end of the main straight on the first lap trying to dodge a crash in front of me. Broke the output on the spool but seeing as it was a TiR spool i still not broke anything Tamiya on the car , man these things are as tough as old boots.

Interesting... hadn't seen that.
Looks like it's in the same positon as the suspension block holes... wider block holes perhaps?
If you look further back, there is still one for the chassis posts. Actually looks like the chassis is cut different in that section to the std chassis... it's a straight edge over the indent on the current one.
Same on the rear too....
Notice the extra hole on chassis by the motor cut-outs... maybe something for the future?

Guessing.... mounting holes for wider blocks for shorter suspension arms.

the hole outside the original block looks like it might line up the the wider blocks on a Cyclone... or similar to it, anyway.
Wow that gold hurts my eyes. If I was Marc, I would put that in a trophy case.

Nobody used anything other than the standard mounts at the Worlds.
