I had chance to hold on his car. He does not use Gyro. I've also post his ESC setup sheet in my other post, please take a look.

He is using corally 21.5T + Turbo.

How could you tell about the Gyro? they are built into the servo now...maybe the servo model number was a non-gyro version?

A driver of Multi Time World Champ pedigree, as is the case with Masami-san, does not need a gyro to prove he can win a club race...

21.5 Boosted Foam, is what we started with in F1 when Brushless stuff started up

I miss those days

On this videos it looks like real F1 racing I don't like it if the cars go so slow around the corner while being scale with one of the fastest motorsport classes

I finally finished my F160 body

Very nice!!! So where did you get the decals from? Are those the ABC Hobby side mirrors I mentioned previously?

I would also love to see a picture of the car without the body, so as to see how you layed out the esc and receiver, and battery.

I made them myself
It is self adhesive printerpaper covered with adhesive transparent film.

Yep, these are the ABC Hobby mirrors. A little big for this car...

This is my chassis:

Everything in line
By the way: There is no need for a front body post if you use foam inside of the body nose.

Although F1RCGP allow gyros those drive exactly the same as the wide F1s I use, without gyro. The faster cornering speed and better handling is down to the use of wide cars and foam tyres, including the rear stepping out more gradually giving you time to correct it before spinning out. Here we run both narrow/rubber and wide/foam, at our last nationals every one of the foam cars qualified faster than the pole rubber car, using the same motor.

UF1 decided to choose scale looks over performance, Asia prefers performance and handling over scalel looks.
