Sorry to change the subject here, just a quick question:

Anyone know where to get the McLaren MP4-24 body set (#51430) in the U.S.? I've only been able to find them on ebay from Hong Kong. I'd rather not wait that long for it to get here

Thanks!

I ran the shimizu tires for the first time over the weekend and loved them.

I run evenings on a low grip bumpy track. I usually run the tamiya softs with gripper, but tried the shimizu and found after 3 races with no gripper used, they went really well. Consistent laps times and I was amazed by the wear rate. After three races they barely looked used. I used the R1's for the rear and just tamiya hard fronts.

Here is a good link to tires that those in the know have put together.

Brand new the rear Pit Shimizu tires for F103 seem to have a slight buldge in the center (i.e. contact patch is only 50%).

I ran the Pit Shimizu tires for 3 hours, contact patch probably improved to 70%. Lap times 20+sec.

Sanded the tires to around 90% contact patch, much better. Lap times 18+sec.
